Following are links directly to info on the Bills that we have been able to find that concern the "Helmet Law". These should be known as "Take More of our Freedoms Away" law. These links are supposed to provide info on the status and history of each bill. They seem to be a little late being updated but here they are.
SB## is senate bill and HB## is house bill.
If anyone can give more up to date information (confirmable) please use our feedback form to let us know.
House Bill 581
House Bill 109
Senate Bill 29
Senate Bill 548
Senate Bill 852
A GOOD note! Senate Bill 852 By Senator CHAISSON originally contained text identical to his bill SB29 addressing requirements for all motorcyclist's to wear a helmet. SB852 has been amended to omit this text. GOOD.
Why would Mr. Chaisson try to include a "helmet law" within another bill?
